BEIJING, July 2 (Xinhua) -- Israeli striker Eran Zahavi put on impressive show in his debut to help Guangzhou R&F beat the visiting Shijiazhuang Everbright 4-2 in the 15th round of the Chinese Super League on Saturday.
Guangzhou R&F broke the deadlock as Brazilian striker Renatinho scored the opener by the end of the first half. Shijiazhuang Everbright equalized through Philippe Mendy in the 53rd minute, which is his third goal in two matches.
Zahavi, who joined Guangzhou R&F three days ago, came off the bench in the 60th minute, and his header put Guangzhou R&F in the lead again 15 minutes later.
Guangzhou R&F enlarged their advantage as Zeng Chao and Zhang Yaokun found the net in the 85th and 90th minutes respectively for the home side, before Jiang Jihong managed for a consolition goal for the visitors in injury time.
In other matches, Henan Jianye beat Beijing Guoan 1-0 at home, Jiangsu Suning downed Liaoning Whowin 4-3 in a heavy rain.
