CAIRO, July 6 (Xinhua) -- A boat sank in the River Nile in the Boulaq Abul Eila district of Cairo, killing four Pakistanis, Egypt's official news agency MENA reported on Wednesday.
The boat hit a cement pillar of the Sixth October Bridge and sank, MENA reported, adding that the boat license is valid until February 2018.
Six others on the boat were saved during the accident while one of the bodies has been retrieved, according to MENA.
Last July, at least 31 people died in a Nile boat crash near Cairo. This January, at least 18 people were killed in a ferryboat sinking.
