HANOI, July 20 (Xinhua) -- Some 200 enterprises from 20 countries and regions attended an expo on products and technology of telecommunication, information and communication technology (ICT) in Vietnam's capital Hanoi on Wednesday.
According to Phan Tam, Vietnamese deputy minister of information and communications, the event will give businesses and visitors access to the latest innovations in ICT services and products.
As many as 500 booths covering an area of 8,000 square meters are showcasing computers and servers, smart phones and tablets, network equipment, and internet services, among others.
First launched in 2011, the annual event has become a venue for companies to promote and perform their technologies, update latest technologies, and meet potential customers, said the event's website.
The event, called ICT COMM Vietnam 2016, is scheduled to last till Friday.
