HANGZHOU, Sept. 3 (Xinhua) -- President Xi Jinping said Saturday that China hopes the United States would honor its commitment in Tibet-related issues and not support secessionist activities by "Tibet independence" forces.

He made the remarks when meeting with his U.S. counterpart Barack Obama on the eve of a G20 summit in the eastern Chinese city of Hangzhou.
