BEIJING, Sept. 22 (Xinhua) -- The publicity chief of the Communist Party of China (CPC) on Thursday called on China's culture, publicity and news media talent to play an exemplary role in the development of advanced socialist culture.
During a discussion with those attending a training session for such talented people, Liu Qibao, head of the Publicity Department of the CPC Central Committee, asked participants to grasp the essence of Chinese leader Xi Jinping's remarks on culture, publicity and news media, share the goals of the CPC, and have confidence in Chinese culture.
Liu also encouraged trainees to put people first, practice and promote socialist core values, and play a leading role in cultivating good social practices.
