BANGKOK, Sept. 23 (Xinhua) -- Five foreign males were arrested Friday in the Thai capital on charges of brutally killing a foreign female and illegally possessing guns and drugs, police said.
The unidentified foreigners, including two Americans, one Briton and two Myanmar males, were arrested at a shophouse in Soi Sukhumvit 56 area shortly after they fired on and injured a plainclothes policeman. The wounded Pol Sgt. Maj. Kanchanapong Chechet was rushed to Police Hospital.
Inside the house, the lacerated body of the Caucasian female was found in six pieces in a big plastic bag and put in a freezer, the police said. The murdered victim was not identified as yet.
Three guns used by the foreigners were seized alongside some fake passports and methamphetamine.
A police investigating team was set up to look into the brutal crime which might have been connected with a racket of forged passports.
