PARIS, Oct. 13 (Xinhua) -- French Foreign Minister Jean-Marc Ayrault on Thursday reaffirmed his will to continue dialogue with Russia over the Syrian and Ukrainian crises.
In a phone conversation with his Russian counterpart, Ayrault "discussed the situation in Syria and noted the urgency to break the current deadlock," so as to allow access for humanitarian aid and pave the way for a resumption of negotiations to hammer out a political alternative to end the bloodshed.
The two ministers also discussed the conflict in Ukraine, a statement released by the Quai d'Orsay added.
