RIYADH, Oct. 20 (Xinhua) -- Saudi Arabia said on Thursday that a Saudi citizen and his daughter were injured by a projectile attack from Yemen's Houthis in the border city of Jazan, Saudi Press Agency reported.
The report said the two injured were sent to local hospital for treatment, but didn't clarify the severity of their injury.
A 72-hour humanitarian cease-fire brokered by the United Nations went into effect on Wednesday midnight. Saudi authorities said this incident was one of the 24 Houthi violations of the truce.
The truce was aimed to allow the entry of humanitarian and medical aid for Yemenis, while the air and maritime inspections will continue as usual. Enditem
