HO CHI MINH CITY, Oct. 25 (Xinhua) -- The first dragon and lion dance festival in Vietnam's Ho Chi Minh City will be held on Oct. 30, with the participation of 12 well-known troupes in the city, organizers said Tuesday.
Taking place on Nguyen Hue pedestrian street and some main roads of the downtown, the festival will include dragon and lion dance performances and parades, exhibitions, and traditional games.
The festival is expected to become Ho Chi Minh City's annual tourism event, said the municipal Tourism Department.
