BEIJING, Nov. 1 (Xinhua) -- Top legislator Zhang Dejiang on Tuesday participated in group discussion on draft decisions of revising the marine environment protection law and the law on private education.
Zhang, chairman of the National People's Congress Standing Committee, also joined discussions on the draft amendments to 12 laws, including the law on foreign trade.
The draft decisions and amendments were submitted to legislators for reading at the bimonthly session of the top legislature, which began Monday.
