MOSCOW, Nov. 16 (Xinhua) -- No separate meeting has been planned between Russian President Vladimir Putin and U.S. President Barack Obama at the upcoming Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) summit in Peru, the Kremlin said Wednesday.
The two sides have not reached any agreement on a separate meeting between the two leaders, but it could not be ruled out that they might meet on the sidelines, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said.
Earlier in the day, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov told reporters that Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov would hold a bilateral meeting with U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry over the Syrian settlement and U.S. sanctions against Russia in Lima, Peru, on Thursday.
