BEIJING, Jan. 8 (Xinhua) -- China Coast Guard (CCG) vessels conducted a patrol in the territorial waters of the Diaoyu Islands on Sunday, according to the State Oceanic Administration website.
The vessels are CCG 2307, 2337 and 31239, according to the statement. China conducts such patrols on a regular basis.

BEIJING, May 14 (Xinhua) -- A Chinese expert on Japan recently refuted claims by the Japanese side over the sovereignty of the Diaoyu Islands, saying the idea is self-deception that goes against history.
