MADRID, Jan. 17 (Xinhua) -- The unveiling of a new Donald Trump waxwork at the Madrid Wax Museum (Museo de Cera) was interrupted on Tuesday morning by a topless female protester from the feminist group "Femen".

The Trump waxwork is to be displayed in the museum alongside those of U.S. presidents Barak Obama, John F Kennedy and Abraham Lincoln in the Madrid museum.

The unveiling, just three days before Trump will be inaugurated as new president of the United States, made the headlines in Spain when a bare-chested woman interrupted the event.

With the words "Grab back" written across her chest and "Grab Patriarchy by the balls" on her back, the protestor grabbed the crotch of the Trump waxwork, while repeatedly shouting the same phrase.

In chaotic and slightly comical scenes, museum spokesman Gonzalo Presa attempted to cover the protestor up with a bunch of red, white and blue balloons and then with the red baseball cap the Trump waxwork was wearing, before security personnel were finally able to lead her away after a protest which lasted over a minute.

Presa later apologized for what he described as an "unpleasant incident".
