BEIJING, Jan. 22 (Xinhua) -- A 8.2-magnitude earthquake hit Solomon Islands at 12:30 p.m. Sunday (Beijing Time), according to the China Earthquake Networks Center (CENC).
The epicenter was monitored at 6.15 degrees south latitude and 155.15 degrees east longitude.
