TIRANA, Jan. 22 (Xinhua) -- The implementation of the recently-adopted justice reform is expected to improve the business climate in Albania, Marinela Jazoj, head of Foreign Investors Association in Albania (FIAA), said on Sunday.
In an interview with local magazine Monitor, she said the confidence in Albanian institutions and rule of law is very important for the business, especially for foreign ones.
This is why the adoption of the judicial reform was considered by the business as a very important step, Jazoj said.
It is crucial that the reforms continue, and more importantly, is the further implementation of these reforms, she said.
According to Jazoj, business climate in Albania continued to have various shortcomings, which had a negative impact on attracting foreign investments.
Problems encountered by the business community, she said, included poor level of public administration, high institutional and regulatory burden, excessive bureaucracy, lack of fiscal discipline, and among others. Enditem
