JAKARTA, Feb. 8 (Xinhua) -- Indonesia's retail sales accelerated 10.5 percent in December from a year earlier as sales of foods rose, a survey by the country's central bank revealed on Wednesday.

That was a slightly higher than that in November of revised 9.9 percent.

The survey predicted retail sales would expand 9.5 percent in January.
