DUBAI, Feb. 15 (Xinhua) -- Tesla and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk has stressed the need to merge humans and machines in the age of artificial intelligence (AI).
"Over time I think we will probably see a closer merger of biological intelligence and digital intelligence," said Musk at the World Government Summit in Dubai on Monday, where he officially launched Tesla in the United Arab Emirates.
"It's mostly about the bandwidth, the speed of the connection between your brain and the digital version of yourself."
Musk explained that in the age of AI, humans would become useless as machines grow faster and faster. So there is a necessity to merge the two types of intelligence.
