RIYADH, Feb. 24 (Xinhua) -- A Jordanian pilot escaped unhurt on Friday when his F16 warplane crashed in Saudi border city Najran because of a technical fault, local media reported.
The airplane belongs to the Jordanian Air forces that have joined the Saudi-led coalition against the Houthi rebels in Yemen.
No official confirmation by the command of the coalition was immediately available.
Airstrikes have been the most common way to fight the Houthis in Yemen since the war broke out in March 2015.
