JAKARTA, March 10 (Xinhua) -- Indonesia has targeted victory at the Asia Talent Cup 2017 in Thailand this month, cyclists said here on Friday.
Indonesia sent four cyclists to vie in the championship scheduled from March 11 to 12 in Chang International Circuit of Burriram, Gerry Salim, one of the cyclists said in a statement.
"I will use best this opportunity to show my capability," he said.
Another cyclist Irfan Ardiansyah claimed that he has improved in speed and targets the first position at the race.
"I have shown improvement in time during a test, and my time is better than that at the last season. My expectation is that I will be at the first position at this race for Indonesia," he added.
During the pre-session test of the Asia talent Cup 2017 from March 4-5, Irfan had made progress on his performance with several time at the first position.
