HAIKOU, March 18 (Xinhua) -- Kim Hae-rym roared to the top of the SGF67 World Ladies Championship with SBS leaderboard when the South Korean finished with a six-under 67 during a weather-delayed second round here on Saturday.
With a score of 11-under 135 over the Mission Hills Haikou Blackstone Course, Kim was one shot ahead of compatriot Bae Seon-woo who was at 10-under through 17 holes when play was called for lightning at around 5pm.
First round leader Georgia Hall from England was three shots off the lead in third after a one-under 71.
Yan Panpan was the top Chinese player after improving to a five-under 68 to sit in 30th place at even par on the 6,362-yard, par-73 course.
Fifty one players were out on the course when play was called off due to the lightning. They will continue to complete their second round on Sunday starting at 7.15am.
The World Ladies Championship is tri-authorized event between the China LPGA Tour, the LPGA Tour of South Korea and the Ladies European Tour.
