MANAMA, March 20 (Xinhua) -- Bahraini authorities confirmed on Monday that the two Bahrainis the United States listed as terrorists last week and another one arrested days back in Germany are all terror fugitives, Bahrain News Agency reported.
Ahmed Al Hammadi, the chief of Terror Crime Prosecution, said they are members of terror groups, denying claims that the action against them came as a result of their political activities.
Last week, the U.S. State Department listed Bahrainis Murtadha Majeed Al Sindi, 34, and Ahmed Hassan Habib Yousif, 31, in its global terrorist list, saying they are members of local terror group Saraya Al Shtar which is accused of being behind many violent acts and assassinations of police personnel.
Meanwhile, Fayadh Mohammed Al Showaikh, 27, was arrested by the German police a few days ago.
