CHICAGO, May 31 (Xinhua) -- More than 135 kilograms of marijuana and some weapons, including two machine guns, have been found during a recent police raid on a country mansion in U.S. state of Illinois.

According to a Chicago Tribune report on Wednesday, prosecutors from McHenry County, some 100 kilometers northwest of Chicago and where the mansion is located, have filed court papers requesting the forfeiture of the house and vacant land around it, valued at a combined 1.6 million U.S. dollars.

In addition to the cannabis, street-valued at about three million U.S. dollars, police also found two machine guns, three pistols and ammunition plus cash of 43,000 U.S. dollars in the house on May 19.

Two residents of the house, David Soskin and Jamie Lee, have been arrested and charged with felony possession, delivery and trafficking of marijuana. The weapons will be tested for potential gun-related crimes, prosecutors added.
