TEHRAN, June 3 (Xinhua) -- At least 35 people were injured in an explosion in the southern Shiraz city of Iran, Tasnim news agency reported on Saturday.
The blast, which happened at the Hyper Market at late Friday night, also caused damage to a nearby shopping center and a bank, according to the report.
Out of 35 injured, 16 have been hospitalized for further treatment, the report said.
The cause of the incident is under investigation, but earlier reports put the blame on the poor safety measures of the market.
