JAKARTA, July 13 (Xinhua) -- The Indonesian bourse has called a U.S. company's subsidiary operating in Indonesia to get listing in the Indonesian stock market.

President Director of the Indonesian bourse Tito Sulistio said on Thursday that PT Freeport Indonesia, a subsidiary of U.S. company Freeport-McMoran Inc., the world's largest copper and gold producer, has operated in Indonesia and contributed revenue.

"It is logical that it's subsidiary gets listing here as it has obtained the biggest revenue from Indonesia," Sulistio said at his office.

Besides, PT Freeport Indonesia has already had a legal status in Indonesia which can pave the process of listing, he added.

PT Freeport Indonesia operates in Papua province of eastern Indonesia.

The company operates Grasberg Mine, the largest gold mine and the third largest copper mine in the world, in Puncak Jaya of the province.

Indonesian authorities have attempted to boost the capitalization of the country's stock market.

Indonesian stock market's capitalization stands at only 6,459 trillion rupiah (some 482.52 billion U.S. dollars).
