KAMPALA, Aug. 2 (Xinhua) -- Uganda has named the squad that will face Zimbabwe on Saturday in the 2017 Africa Rugby Gold Cup in Kampala.

Head coach John Duncan and his assistant Robert Sseguya named the team on Wednesday. The notable inclusion on the team is Justin Kimono. The winger suffered a hamstring injury before the Tunisia game and has been out for two weeks.

After two wins against Tunisia and Senegal and a draw against second placed Kenya, the Uganda Rugby Cranes are third in the rankings with 11 points.

Namibia emerged champions after stopping Kenya 45-7 last weekend.

Team captain Brian Odongo told Xinhua that they are going to go all out to win against Zimbabwe.

In their last home game two weeks ago Uganda lost 48-24 to Namibia.

Assistant coach Seguya said the players need to give their best and win convincingly.

"We need to make our fans happy after we lost to Namibia last month," added the former national star.

Tunisia will also be looking for a win or draw against Senegal in their last match on Saturday to be able to remain in the Rugby Gold Cup.

The last-ranked team will be relegated to the Silver Cup, while Morocco who were the champions of the Silver Cup will be promoted.
