MINSK, Aug. 24 (Xinhua) -- Belarusian BATE Borisov beat the Ukrainian Alexandria in the second leg of Europa League play-off on Thursday with a score of 2-1 and reached the group stage of Europa League.
Having missed the first, the Belarusian team was able to find the strength not only to make a draw, but to come forward. Both goals from BATE were scored by Mirko Ivanich (70th and 74th minutes of the game).
A week ago in Borisov the two teams played to a 1-1 draw.
BATE for the 3rd time in its history went to the group stage of the Europa League.
On Friday, a draw will be held for the group stage of the Europa League.
