BEIJING, Aug. 28 (Xinhua) -- Chinese Vice Premier Wang Yang will travel to Russia next week for a meeting of the Intergovernmental Cooperation Committee of China's Northeast and Russia's Far East and Baikal Region, Foreign Ministry spokesperson Hua Chunying said Monday.
During his stay in Russia from Sep. 4 to 8, Wang will also attend a chairmen's meeting of the joint commission for regular meetings between the Chinese and Russian heads of government and the third Eastern Economic Forum, Hua said.
Wang will make the trip at the invitation of his Russian counterparts Dmitry Rogozin and Yury Trutnev.
