CHANGCHUN, Oct. 11 (Xinhua) -- Jilin City team suffered another heavy defeat, losing 0-6 to Russian Ural team in the 13th round VHL game of 2017-2018 season on Wednesday.

Taking advantage of fast passing and chipping, Russian Ural took an early lead of 2-0 in the first quarter. The host team Jilin had to resort to counter attacks.

In the second quarter, Jilin City team tried to bounce back but failed to scored a single goal while Ural team scored two more goals through rapid counter attacks in the last two minutes.

Jilin City team couldn't turn the table in the last quarter. The opponent settled for 6-0 with another two goals.

"There are many reasons for the failure. One of them is team wingers lacking ability to score. If we could score two points in the first quarter, the result would probably be rewritten," said the Russian coach of Jilin City team Akifiyev Aleks.
