RAMALLAH, Nov. 7 (Xinhua) -- Palestinian Fatah party's official spokesperson Nasser Al-Qudwa said Tuesday that Israel's interventions into Gaza's factions arms and security issue are "unacceptable, unrealistic and inapplicable."

He further criticized Israel for it's "dangerous and qualitative" settlement activities and procedures in support of settlers in Hebron, saying it would lead to destroying the status quo.

In his press briefing, he told journalists that Israel imposed measures and policies in the occupied Palestinian territories, including escalated settlement projects and the attempt to create a governing body for Jewish settlers in Hebron's old city, and legalizing it's measures in the West Bank is "very dangerous, and comes part of Israel's fascist and anti-democratic actions."

Al-Qudwa warned that this undermines the jurisdiction of the Palestinian National Authority (PNA) and may lead to violence.

He also accused Israel of attempting to hinder the national reconciliation deal by calling for disarming the factions.

"Disarming happens either as a result of war or a political arrangement," he said, but "Israel waged three wars against Gaza and was not able to disarm the political factions."

He considered the Israeli demand an "unacceptable intervention."

With regards to the peace process, he affirmed that there will be no changes made to the 2002 Arab Peace Initiative so that there would be no normalization with Arab states before ending the occupation over Palestinian territory.
