PHNOM PENH, Nov. 14 (Xinhua) -- Jordan defeated host Cambodia 1-0 in their 2019 AFC Asian Cup third-round qualifying Group C encounter at the Olympic Stadium here Tuesday night.
Broadcast live on BTV news channel, the game attracted nearly 20,000 fans.
Jordanian midfielder Munther Abu Amarah scored the winner in the 17th minute.
The Group C contains Jordan, Vietnam, Cambodia and Afghanistan. Jordan will take on Vietnam in Amman, while Cambodia will face Afghanistan at a neutral venue in March 2018. Enditem
