SINGAPORE, Nov. 15 (Xinhua) -- Singapore stocks closed lower on Wednesday, with the benchmark Straits Times Index (STI) dropping 0.89 percent or 30.39 points to close at 3,368.70.
A total of 2.03 billion shares changed hands with a turnover of 1.3 billion Singapore dollars (about 962.16 million U.S. dollars). Losers outnumbered gainers by 322 to 149.
The STI index closed down 0.59 percent or 20.04 points to close at 3,399.09 on Tuesday.
