Casablanca to host 1st China Trade Week Morocco

RABAT, Nov. 21 (Xinhua) -- Morocco's economical capital Casablanca will host the first China Trade Week Morocco from December 20-22, the organizes announced on Tuesday.

Inspired by the Belt and Road Initiative and success in many countries, the China Trade Week (CTW) will gather 100 companies from Morocco and China.

Speaking during a press conference, Michelle Meyrick, international events director at MIE Events said CTW will offer the perfect platform for local business community to meet Chinese manufacturers and take advantage of the event's high quality and competitively priced products.

It will also bring Moroccan's business people face-to-face with Chinese companies, creating a unique opportunity to meet to talk and develop the foundations of trading and business relationships, she noted.

She added that the event expects some 4,000 visitors.

China Trade Week has been held in the United Arab Emirates, Kenya, South Africa, Ghana and Ethiopia.
