COLOMBO, Dec. 15 (Xinhua) -- Malaysian Prime Minister Najib Razak will arrive in Sri Lanka Sunday on a three-day visit, the Sri Lanka Government Information Department said Friday.
In a statement, the Information Department said that the Malaysian prime minister's visit is set to further strengthen the bilateral relations between the two countries.
During his visit, Najib is expected to hold discussions with Sri Lankan President Maithripala Sirisena and Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe.
A high-level team from the Malaysian Foreign Ministry is expected to arrive in the island country as an advance party to help in the upcoming visit by Najib, who will depart to the Maldives after visiting Sri Lanka.
