HOHHOT, June 22, 2016 (Xinhua) -- Workers lay tracks in Ulanqab to Hohhot segment of Zhangjiakou-Hohhot high-speed passenger railway line in north China's Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, June 22, 2016. The track laying operation of the first high-speed railway line in Inner Mongolia started on Wednesday. The 286.8-kilometer-long railway line, with a designed speed of 250 km per hour, started to construct in July 2014. It will shorten the travel time between Beijing and Hohhot to less than three hours. (Xinhua/Lian Zhen)
