JAKARTA, July 19, 2016 (Xinhua) -- Workers rest at a road construction site in Jakarta, Indonesia, July 19, 2016. Based on the World Bank report published this June, Indonesia is undergoing a historic transformation from a rural to an urban economy. Between 2000 and 2010, the amount of urban land in Indonesia increased from about 8,900 square kilometers to 10,000 square kilometers. However, the high population density further burdens the existing infrastructure and the amount of new urban land added per new resident is less than 40 square meters. (Xinhua/Veri Sanovri)
