6 "dangdang" buses start operation in N China's Hohhot

These buses are modelled after the old-fashioned trams, known as 'dangdang' buses, after the sound of the bells drivers used instead of horns.

Passengers take a "dangdang" bus running in Hohhot, capital of north China's Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. A total of 6 "dangdang" buses started operation in Hohhot on Saturday.
