Chinese and Russian naval forces have concluded their eight-day 'Joint Sea 2016' exercise, in waters off the southern Chinese province of Guangdong. Leaders of the navies said the drills were a great success and they had achieved their goals.
The exercise began last Sunday, and featured navy surface ships, submarines, fixed-wing aircraft, ship-borne helicopters, marine corps, and amphibious armored equipment. They have been doing these joint-drills annually since 2012, and this was the largest one yet.
