NEW YORK, July 21 (Xinhua) -- Donald Trump on Thursday officially accepted nomination as the Republican presidential candidate, but the historic moment for the New York billionaire was somewhat overshadowed by his "air kiss" to his running mate.
Many described the scene as awkward, noting that Trump's attempts to show affection for Indiana governor Mike Pence was met with obvious resistance.
