ISLAMABAD, July 29 (Xinhua) -- At least three people were injured when a bomb went off near a bus stand in Pakistan's northwest Peshawar city on Friday, local Urdu media reported.
Dawn News said that the injured people included a traffic police officer and two passengers who were waiting at the bus stop in Faqirabad area of Peshawar, the capital city of the country's northwest Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province.
Police said that an estimated two to three kilograms of explosives were used in the blast which was triggered off by a remote controlled device.
The injured people have been shifted to a nearby hospital.
No group has claimed responsibility for the attack yet.
Police cordoned off the area for investigations.
