HANOI, Aug. 16 (Xinhua) -- Vietnam is scheduled to hold an Autumn Book Fair in capital Hanoi in September.
The annual event aims at building habit in reading and buying books in the community, said organizer on Tuesday.
A highlight of the Autumn Book Fair 2016 is the "online book" zone where electronic books and online book trading floor will be introduced.
The book fair will also see the participation of domestic and foreign publishing houses. On the sidelines of the event, there will be seminars and talk shows with writers and readers.
The event is scheduled to be held during Sept.9-13 at Thong Nhat Park in Hanoi.
According to a report by Vietnam's Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, some 26 percent of Vietnamese people do not read books, while 44 percent read books occasionally and only 30 percent read books regularly.
