HANOI, Sept. 20 (Xinhua) -- Vietnamese movie "Trung So" (Jackpot) will join the 25th China Golden Rooster and Hundred Flowers Film Festival, which will be held on Sept. 21-24 in Tangshan, China's northern Hebei Province.

"We are honored to present our film at the film festival," Vietnamese movie producer Bebe Pham was quoted by the state-run news agency VNA on Tuesday.

The movie was directed by Dustin Nguyen while Vietnamese actress Ninh Duong Lan Ngoc starred in.

Last year, Jackpot won Vietnam's Canh Dieu Vang (Golden Kite) Award for best feature movie, as well as best actress and best script at the cinema association's festival.

At the China Golden Rooster and Hundred Flowers Film Festival in 2009, Nguyen won the title of favorite foreign actor for his role in Huyen Thoai Bat Tu (The Legend is Alive) while Ngoc's role in Canh Dong Bat Tan (Floating Lives) also earned her the most favorite foreign actress at the 2011 festival.
