TUNIS, Nov. 29 (Xinhua) -- Tunisia is expected to offer at least 146 projects worth more than 30 billion U.S. dollars at an international investment conference starting Tuesday in the capital Tunis.
Over 2,000 representatives from 40 countries, including France, China, the United States, Belgium, Canada, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar and Algeria, participated in the two-day International Conference on Investment, "Tunisia 2020."
According to the event organizers, Tunisia aims to mobilize necessary funds for both mega-development and infrastructure projects in a bid to raise the competitiveness of the north African country and promote it as a popular tourist hub.
