CHANGSHA, Dec. 5 (Xinhua) -- Xu Dazhe was elected as governor of central China's Hunan Province Monday.
The election was held at the sixth session of the 12th Hunan Provincial People's Congress.
Xu, 60, a native of Liuyang City, Hunan, was previously acting governor of Hunan. He also serves as deputy secretary of the Hunan Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China.
