BEIJING, Dec. 21 (Xinhua) -- The top political advisory body will hold a meeting in late February next year.
Yu Zhengsheng, chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), on Wednesday presided over a chairpersons' meeting to decide on the schedule and agenda of the 19th meeting of the Standing Committee of the 12th CPPCC National Committee, which will run from Feb. 27 to 28 next year.
The February meeting will be held to prepare for the fifth annual session of the 12th CPPCC National Committee.
Participants of the Wednesday meeting discussed the political advisors' consultation plan and the biweekly consultation meeting schedule for next year and listened to a report about the CPPCC National Committee's work this year.
They also studied the spirit and requirements of the recent Central Economic Work Conference and agreed to pool wisdom and strength for the country's economic and social development.
Wednesday's meeting approved a decision to revoke the CPPCC National Committee membership of Huang Hongyun.
