SKOPJE, Dec. 28 (Xinhua) -- Macedonia's industrial output registered a decline of 4.9 percent year-on-year in November, Macedonia's state statistical office said Wednesday.
Such decline came after another shrink by 3.6 percent in October, official data showed.
The significant decline in manufacturing production, which has the largest share in total output, was one of the main factors bringing this drop in the general industrial production.
Industrial production in the section of mining and quarrying saw an annual decline of 16.8 percent while the sector of manufacturing shrank by 5.7 percent, the data showed.
Meanwhile, statistical office said in its report that the industrial production by main industrial groupings was higher in energy by 8.5 percent, capital goods by 4.0 percent and durable consumer goods by 2.3 percent.
The sector of utilities saw the highest growth rate on an annual basis, the report said.
However, speaking in terms of the first eleven months of 2016, Macedonia's industrial production expanded by 3.4 percent year-on-year. Enditem
