WINDHOEK, Jan. 11 (Xinhua) -- Namibian boxer, Julius 'Blue Machine' Indongo, current IBF and IBO world champion will trade leather with WBA world champion, Ricky Burns, from Scotland on Apr. 15 at the SSE Hydro in Glasgow, Scotland.

Namibian Boxing Promoter, Nestor Tobias on Wednesday confirmed that negotiations between MTC Sunshine and Matchroom Promotions had been concluded successfully and the fight will take place in a 10,000-seater venue expected to be crowded with Scottish and English fans.

According to Tobias, three world title belts from different sanctioning bodies will be on the line.

"We are excited to have successfully negotiated this super fight, it is a fight that the world is waiting to see and Indongo is up to the task. From all the offers we received, we made the right choice choosing Burns who is also a respected champion in his own right," Tobias said.

Indongo stunned the world of boxing when he knocked down double world IBF and IBO champion, Eduard Troyanovsky in 40 seconds last year in Russia.

Indongo said, "It is an absolute honour for me to fight another world champion. Ricky is an accomplished champion, I respect what he has achieved so far, but I am going to Scotland to take his WBA belt away from him".

Meanwhile, his opponent, Burns (33) became a three weight world champion when he won the WBA world championship belt in 2016 and successfully defended it later the same year against Kiryl Relikh.

Currently, Indongo is a double world champion and remains undefeated with 21 fights and 21 straight wins.
