RIO DE JANEIRO, Feb. 7 (Xinhua) -- Colombia international striker Miguel Borja said Tuesday that his family is ready to relocate to Brazil as speculation mounted of an imminent move to Palmeiras.

The Brazilian Serie A champions are said to have come to terms with Colombia's Atletico Nacional to sign the 24-year-old on a long-term deal.

"My family support the move," Borja was quoted as saying by the Estado de S.Paulo newspaper. "They have already packed their suitcases. They all like Brazil and want to move there. Let's see what happens."

He said he had sought advice from Venezuelan midfielder Alejandro Guera and Colombia national teammate Yerry Mina, both current members of Palmeiras' squad.

Borja has scored 17 goals in 27 matches for Atletico Nacional and helped the Colombian outfit win last year's Copa Libertadores - South America's top club competition - for the first time since 1989.

Palmeiras see the forward an ideal replacement for Gabriel Jesus, who left the club to join Manchester City in December.
