TEHRAN, March 11 (Xinhua) -- Iran's national beach soccer team won the title of the 2017 Asian Football Confederation (AFC) Beach Soccer Championship in Malaysia by beating the United Arab Emirates (UAE) in the finals.
Iran beat UAE 7-2 in Kuala Terengganu of Malaysia, local reports said.
Earlier in the day, Japan defeated Lebanon 6-3 to finish in third place.
