MEXICO CITY, March 13 (Xinhua) -- A gunfight at a bar in the center of Mexico City's tourism district left one client dead and two others injured, local media reported Monday.
The gunfight took place around 11 p.m. Sunday at Pulqueria La Elegante, on Florencia Street, the main strip in the city's popular Zona Rosa neighborhood, just minutes from landmark hotels.
"According to eyewitnesses, a fight broke out ... and one of those involved took out a gun and shot at a group of people," news magazine Proceso said on its website.
Police called to the scene saw four armed men fleeing the bar, chased them for several blocks and arrested them, confiscating three weapons.
