DHAKA, March 16 (Xinhua) -- Two suspected militants were killed in Bangladesh in suicide blasts during a police raid on Thursday.
Police raided a hideout of Neo-JMB, an offshoot of the banned militant outfit Jamaatul Mujahideen Bangladesh, in the country's seaport city Chittaong, some 242 km southeast of capital Dhaka, a local police official said.
A Chittaong police official told Xinhua over phone from the scene that "two militants have blown themselves up Thursday morning despite repeated requests to surrender."
He said a woman also suffered critical injuries.
The official who did not like to be unnamed could not confirm whether the woman who was rushed to a hospital has also died.
